90 days ( GOOD ) - this selection is chosen most by used car dealerships, individuals that are not expecting to keep their vehicles, or budget minded individuals. The item is still constructed from top quality materials, simply discounted to reflect the limited warranty period and offer the customer the lowest possible price. Converters with this warranty are still constructed using OBD2 cores to ensure no premature check engine light and what the market would refer to as a standard grade OBD2 unit. ALL grades feature stainless flex connectors ( if applicable) , stainless converter bodies, and stainless o2 sensor bushings.
1 year / 35,000km ( BETTER ) - this is our most popular selection. These products come with a full 1yr warranty or 35,000km against manufacturer defects with unlimited mileage. Converters with this warranty feature a premium loaded OBD2 converter core with higher precious metals loading and/or a larger amount of substrate internally. These items are designed to last beyond the industry standard.
2 year / 70,000km ( BEST ) - this is our premium line of exhaust products. Converters selected with this warranty ( 2years or 70,000km ) feature a very highly loaded catalytic converter core and generally full stainless steel tubing construction. These are also know as our OEM grade units. These units feature either increase substrate volume or highly loaded California grade internal substrates and protective matting. Although not inherently California legal, the internal substrate is designed based on their standards. The result is a product that will last and perform for many many years.
There is NO warranty on converters that are melted, cracked, broken, overheated, or physical damages. We do not cover installation and or issue labor refunds. All items ship in perfectly working condition. Please see our info section as to why converters fail and what to do to prevent damaging your new product. For all warranty claims the item must either be shipped back first OR a core deposit must be paid until old unit is returned. WARRANTY IS FOR REPLACEMENT ONLY NOT REFUND. For ANY warranty to be valid, proof of O2 sensor replacement at the time of converter replacement is required. This is the leading cause of initial converter failure.
DO NOT be fooled by sellers that advertise '5yr' or 'Lifetime' warranty Catalytic Converters. In most cases this refers to perforation of the converter body only, nothing else. Since our converter bodies are stainless steel there is NO chance of rust-through.

United StatesAs an original owner of a 2003 Honda Odyssey EX with now 314,000 miles (505,000+ km), I've had the pleasure of doing almost all of the maintenance and mechanical work along the way to keep it in excellent running condition. Exhaust repair is inevitable with a vehicle with this mileage, so I've had to work on the flex pipe a couple of times. The original flex pipe failed around 150K miles. With the OEM Honda replacement being extremely costly, I elected to try the Bosal Aluminized Steel Exhaust Pipe 50315MGF. It did fit, but almost immediately the exhaust flanges started to break about every 6 months. Bosal's customer service was helpful and they did provide a replacement, but I elected to have the flanges welded every time they broke afterward on the replacement to reduce vehicle downtime. At the time I guessed that the flanges were breaking due to weak motor mounts. Fast forward to 2019 when I decided I had enough of the 'broken-flanges' cycle I was in. I discovered this replacement from Muffler Express and was very impressed with their description of the materials (especially the stainless steel parts) and craftsmanship. Being priced at less than $120 US, I couldn't resist trying it. When the flex-pipe arrived and I started comparing it to the Bosal, it became very clear this part was far superior and was built CORRECTLY. The problem with my flanges wasn't due to the motor mounts but due to the incorrect length of the flex-pipe portion. The fit of the Muffler Express pipe was spot-on, and the exhaust sounded like the day we drove it off the showroom. It was very nice to have the exhaust ****** gaskets and catalytic bolts included! I didn't have too high of expectations for corrosion wear, especially since the aluminized Bosal rusted so badly. This muffler express flex-pipe not only didn't corrode, but still looks great today (sorry no picture yet, maybe the next time I'm under the van). I usually don't spend this amount of time or detail for product reviews, but I hope others with 2nd generation Odysseys will benefit from finding this high-quality flex-pipe replacement. A big THANK YOU to Muffler Express for providing this flex-pipe to extend the life and drivability of our Odyssey!!
